ha wa, i've heard that some people on here are either spreading around or are actually thinking that i am going out with The Ecuadorian Gentleman. That is false, and I'd like for some to realize that one can be friends with someone of the opposite gender without dating that person. Thank you

Oy vey. Here, for example, I didnt' even know anyone was even rummored to be dating the ecuadorian gentleman, so they're right, you just opened up a new can of worms. If Here's a little bit of advice: if you want to avoid drama, hint: if something's not on the boards, don't post about it there if you don't want it to get out. I think the boards are probably the most frequented section of the site, and while I wish people wouldn't start drama, unfortunately, some people on here take pure pleasure in stirring the pot, so to speak. It's the only liivelihood they have to speak of. Sorry--I hope it dies down before it gets worse for you.
It really doesn't take much to start rumors. You can talk to someone frequently on here and people will either assume you are in a relationship, or say it to start drama. Rumors are just something to chuckle at at the end of the day with your friend. Unless someone tries to pull something real nasty out of the woodwork and try doing slander, I wouldn't let it get to you. Someone saying you are in a relationship isn't something that should bother you.
The advice you've gotten is good advice, unless, of course, it's not true but you wish it were.

My advice to you concerning the Zone BBS Boards is not to post anything you wouldn't want kept secret. After all, this is a public form and after you have sent the message, there is no way to take it back. One could only assume that you are dating the person you mentioned above, because you began this thread.
Some people on here are extremely dramatic and will make false accusations without even knowing the circumstances you are going through. For instance, I don't think I am very highly regarded around here as an intelligent person. If I have drama, trust me, the last place I will turn is to the Internet. I will express it through other mediums such as journaling. This is a much healthier approach and will not be criticized by others. So, if there is a rumor, you should probably write it in a diary of some sort.
Yes, I will agree that the boards is one of the most frequented sections of the site. It's like a drama of Facebook, just for visually impaired people. ahaha:)
